AIM movers: Another forecast increase for Hardide and MP Evans increases palm oil production

ProService Building Services Marketplace (LON: PRO) director Thomas Shorten has bought 363,962 shares at 2.32p each and 275,504 shares at 2.08p each. The share price recovered by one-fifth to 2.4p.

Advanced coatings supplier Hardide (LON: HDD) has sparked another forecast upgrade with its latest trading statement. Third quarter trading was strong, and it has grown revenues ahead of plan. Third quarter revenues were £4.1m, taking the total for the year so far to £8.9m. The full year pre-tax profit forecast has been raised from £3.4m to £4.6m. Year end cash is expected to be £2.3m. The share price rose 18.1% to 88p, which is a 376% increase this year.

Construction staff provider Hercules (LON: HERC) non-executive director Martin Tedham bought 50,000 shares at 32p each. The share price rebounded 9.38% to 35p.

Ariana Resources (LON: AAU) says that the Tavsan Mine, where it has a 9.9% interest, has completed its ramp up and ore is being loaded onto heap leach pads at 4,000 tonnes per day. Enhancements are being made to the processing. Kiziltepe interests have been transferred into a separate entity to enable the sale of this stake. The share price gained 8.06% to 1.675p.

Menel Energy and Resources is subscribing £750,000 in Shuka Minerals (LON: SKA) at 4p/share. The final repayment date for the Gathoni Muchai Investments loan facility has been extended to the end of 2027. A cash payment of $250,000 will be made by the end of July 2026 and this will reduce the amount of the loan by $300,000. The restructuring fee is £119,000 in shares at 4p each and some interest has also been paid in shares. The conversion price is 4p/share. The share price increased 7.69% to 2.8p.

Oil palm plantations owner MP Evans (LON: MPE) says crude palm oil production was 11% higher at 192,300 tonnes in the first half and the sale price is slightly higher. The average extraction rate improved to 24.1%. Prices may fall in the second half. Full year pre-tax profit is forecast at $133.7m. The share price improved 8.33% to £18.33.

FALLERS

There has been profit taking in fertiliser producer Harvest Minerals (LON: HMI) shares following yesterday’s news that it is acquiring a portfolio of eight rare earth projects in Brazil. The share price has fallen 18.2% to 0.225p, which is back to the same price as Monday.

Floorcoverings supplier James Halstead (LON: JHD) says full year revenues will be slightly lower at £259m and that means that pre-tax profit will fall by more than 10%. Panmure Liberum forecast a decline in 2025-26 pre-tax profit from £55.1m to £48.2m, but it should recover this year. Net cash should still improve to £75m. UK market share is growing, while luxury vinyl tile sales were weaker in Europe and Australia. The share price declined 4.76% to 120p.

Orosur Mining Inc (LON: OMI) has completed phase 2 of exploration for the El Pantano gold and silver project in Argentina and it has assumed 100% ownership. The company may seek a joint venture partner to help fund further progress. The share price slipped 4.22% to 14.75p.
