AIM movers: Shearwater beats expectations and AOTI Inc continues its share price improvement

Cyber security software and services provider Shearwater Group (LON: SWG) says the business won at the end of the period meant that trading was ahead of expectations in the year to June 2026. Revenues have been upgraded 18% to £42m and earnings have been raised from 4.5p/share to 4.9p/share. Net cash was £5.6mat the end of June 2026, which is around 50% of the market capitalisation. The board is considering share buybacks and /or dividends. At this point, Cavendish is not changing its 2026-27 forecast. The share price jumped 24.2% to 56.5p.

US wound healing technology developer AOTI Inc (LON: AOTI) achieved better revenues and debt levels than expected in the first half of 2026. Revenues grew 10% to $35m despite the disruption from ceasing business in Arizona. The underlying growth was 18%. Net debt was $6.3m, due to higher sales to the Veterans Administration which is a prompt payer. Debt should continue to decline. Full year pre-tax profit expectations have been increased from $1.2m to $2.7m due to operational gearing. That does not include any benefit from the proposed Local Coverage Determination (LCD) for Medicare and Medicaid that was announced last week. This may not make a significant difference until 2028 depending on the timing of final coding and reimbursement. The share price continues its upward momentum gaining 11.4% to 97.5p.

Victoria (LON: VCP) executive chairman Geoffrey Wilding acquired 150,000 shares at 67.42p each, taking his stake to 19.6%. The share price increased 6.69% to 70.95p.

RTC Group (LON: RTC) reported a dip in continuing revenues from £48.3m to £45.2m. The engineering and technical recruitment company has been hit by poor business confidence and delays in smart metering roll-out, while international demand hampered by US policy changes. Pre-tax profit fell from £1.21m to £747,000. The interim dividend is unchanged at 1.21p/share. Cash is £3.8m. New business and extensions have been won in the second half. The share price rose 5.56% to 95p.

AI-enabled PR company Pathos Communications (LON: NEWS) interim revenues rose 14% to $7.3m and it is on track to achieve full year forecasts, which appear conservative. Revenues of $14m are estimated with underlying pre-tax profit improving from $2m to $2.7m. This is despite adding to the cost base by investing in growing operations, including a new team in Asia Pacific. Cash generation is improving. The share price is 4.36% ahead at 28.7p, which is less than eleven times prospective earnings.

Tristel (LON: TSTL) shares are 9.44% lower at 407.5p following the launch of 3T Pro, a new premium tier of 3T digital compliance tracking platform. The new level includes enhanced asset tracking and lifecycle management, as well as better dashboards.

Mendell Helium (LON: MDH) has settled with a former broker, which has agreed to exercise 500,000 warrants at 3p each. This £15,000 will be offset against the money owed to the former broker. The share price declined 7.78% to 4.15p.

Forgent (LON: FORG) announced good drilling results from the Peak Hill gold copper project in Western Australia. They confirm multiple shallow gold systems and a new exploration corridor. This new target will be the subject of phase 2 drilling in August. The share price fell 6.25% to 0.015p.

Explorer and developer 80 Mile (LON: 80M) has raised £1.9m at 0.67p/share. The cash will fund the Dundas ilmenite project in Greenland and the Ferrandina biofuels plant in Italy, as while as financing projects in Finland to ready them for sale.  The share price dipped 6.97% to 0.694p.

Mexico-focused gaming business Gana Media Group (LON: GANA) increased registrations by 136% in the period of the World Cup and they reached more than 40,000. Daily betting activity grew over the period of the competition. Gross gaming revenues increased 227% year-on-year. Some of the newly registered individuals are also betting on other events. The share price slid 1.85% to 0.1325p.
