Mindflair has said one of its investee companies, Mirror Security, has been chosen for Google’s Gemini Startup Forum for cybersecurity, a flagship programme backing the next generation of AI-enabled security firms.
The AIM-quoted investor, which focuses on AI-related technology, holds its interest in Mirror Security through Sure Valley Ventures’ third fund. Mirror Security is one of 33 cybersecurity startups selected for the programme.
Over the coming months, the company will work alongside experts from Google Cloud, Google DeepMind and security firm Wiz, exploring the Gemini ecosystem and developing secure, privacy-preserving AI tools capable of running at enterprise scale.
The programme offers access to technical expertise, product support and industry insight, and Mirror Security will attend an in-person forum at Google’s London offices in September.
Mindflair has built a portfolio of more than 30 AI-focused businesses to date, supporting them as they develop their technology and scale internationally.
Nicholas Lee, Director of Mindflair plc, said: “We are pleased to see Mirror Security selected for the Google Startup Forum: Cybersecurity. This is a clear endorsement of the company’s technology and an important opportunity to accelerate its development within the Gemini ecosystem.”
Mindflair shares have disappointed so far in 2026, trading near all-time lows. Today’s news is unlikely to shift the dial, but it suggests that over the long term there could be some winners in their portfolio of AI companies.
