Aura Energy (LON: AURA) says work at the Tiris uranium project in Mauritania has removed the last major technical uncertainty and the company is selecting a financing structure. The advanced draft of the bankable feasibility study was shared with potential finance providers in July. A pilot plant could start operations in October with final investment decision by the end of the year. The exploration permit application is progressing for the Häggån polymetallic project in Sweden. Aura Energy had $16m in cash at the end of June 2026. The share price gained 4.35% to 6p.
Furnishing fabrics and wallpapers designer Colefax Group (LON: CFX) increased full year sales 5% to £115.9m, even though decorating sales declined, while pre-tax profit rose 18% to £10.5m due to a strong performance of the fabrics business in the US. Cash was £23.5m at the end of April, after £6.1m spent on share buybacks. The total dividend is 7% higher at 6.3p/share. US sales continue to be strong, but the UK is tougher. The share price added 2.42% to £14.80.
Quadrise (LON: QED) has extended its existing agreement with its Moroccan representative until the end of 2026. The representative will receive 12 million warrants if a commercial MSAR fuel supply agreement if an active project is announced by the end of 2026. The share price rose 1.52% to 1.005p.
FALLERS
Supercapacitors developer Cap-XX (LON: CPX) has raised £2.2m via a placing and subscription at 0.15p/share and the money will be spent on updating manufacturing lines. A retail offer could raise more. It is set to close on 3 August. The share price dived 29.3% to 0.145p.
Sylvania Platinum (LON: SLP) achieved record annual production of 95,885 4E PGM ounces in the year to June 2026, up from 81,002 ounces in the previous year. Fourth quarter production was slightly higher than the third quarter figure. Chrome production at the Thaba joint venture fell 6% to 17,889 tons in the fourth quarter due to variability in ore supply. The annual production was 50,317 tons, which was at the bottom of expectations. A reduction in prices meant that the quarterly revenues declined. Cash was $67.2m at the end of June 2026. The share price declined 9.76% to 74p.
Litigation Capital Management (LON: LIT) says that the debt covenant waiver from Northleaf has been extended to 31 August. There is no additional waiver fee, but the interest charge is still two percentage points above the original level. The strategic review continues. The share price slipped 7.05% to 2.175p.
Zanaga Iron Ore (LON: ZIOC) says discussions with Red Arc Minerals (RAM) continue and there has been evidence provided of progress towards the strategic financing of up to $500m from a western government backed financing institution. This institution has issued a letter of intent. RAM requires additional time to arrange its equity investment, and the period of the transaction has been extended to the end of November 2026. The share price fell 6.22% to 3.845p.
