ITM Power has produced and delivered its first green hydrogen from RWE’s electrolysis plant in Lingen, Germany, in what it called one of the first operational hydrogen value chains in Europe.
The AIM-listed electrolyser manufacturer is supplying two 100 MW plants to RWE at the Lingen site, in partnership with Linde Engineering, as part of the GET H2 Nukleus project.
During commissioning, hydrogen produced at Lingen was transported approximately 120 km via pipeline to Evonik’s chemical park in Marl for industrial use, linking large-scale production, transport, and an end customer in a single chain.
