Time Out Group has secured a site overlooking Piccadilly Circus for the first Time Out Market in its home city, in what it billed as the global flagship of its growing food-hall portfolio.
The AIM-listed media and hospitality company said the venue, at The Crown Estate’s 10 Piccadilly development on Regent Street, is due to open in summer 2028. The location sits on a stretch of the West End that draws annual footfall of around 74 million.
Spanning more than 26,000 sq ft across three floors, the market will house about 15 restaurants, bars and food businesses, a mix of established local favourites and emerging talent, alongside a year-round programme of live entertainment and cultural experiences, all curated by Time Out’s local editors.

The London opening extends a hugely successful concept that began in Lisbon in 2014 and now spans 13 markets across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia, drawing more than 12 million visitors a year, with a further five in development.
Anyone who has visited Lisbon will know the draw of the Time Out Market.
Time Out said bringing the format to London gives it a chance to convert its media audience, which reaches around 280 million people a month, into paying visitors, while tying its media and market businesses more closely together.
