AIM movers: Potential Meta boost for Kooth and initial resources at Motapa for Caledonia Mining

Canaccord Genuity has published a flash note on Kooth (LON: KOO) suggesting that the $18bn Meta settlement has highlighted the mental health of youths and US state clients of Kooth mental health services are due to receive significant amounts of cash. The California attorney general claims that the money is earmarked for mental health and Kooth could receive additional work. The share price jumped 14.8% to 186.5p.

GENinCode (LON: GENI) says that a presentation at the 2026 European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Annual Congress in Spain will show a major advance of prediction and prevention of coronary artery disease using the CARDIO inCode-Score risk score. This was a study of 584 men and women aged 45-65 years. The benefit was greatest where the genetic risk was highest. The share price  improved 7.89% to 1.025p.

The Capital Access Window for Rockhopper Exploration (LON: RKH) has ended following a placing and the publication of an open offer circular and the shares recommenced trading at 77.35p, down 5.67%. The placing raised £132.4m at 70p/share. The open offer will raise up to £14.4m. This will fund the oil and gas company’s share of the costs of the OSX-1 well and associated work at the Sea Lion prospect in the North Falkland Basin. Development drilling should start in early 2027. First oil is expected in the first quarter of 2028. The cash should last until then.

Power Metal Resources (LON: POW) has started on site work at the 100% owned Tati Gold project on the Tati Greenstone Belt in Botswana. Drilling will test below the base of oxidation. This and further drilling will go towards a desktop feasibility study. Tuscan Holdings will fund these activities as part of its option to acquire a 75% interest in the licence. The share price increased 3.17% to 13p.

Caledonia Mining Corp (LON: CMCL) has reported a maiden mineral resource for the Motapa prospect in Zimbabwe, which is next door to Bilboes, which should be in production by the end of 2028. The resource is 379,000 ounces of gold in measured and indicated categories and 131,000 ounces of inferred resource. This is before additional exploration this year. The Blanket mine, which is generating revenues for the company, has added further resource not just underground, but for the first time a shallow resource. The shallow oxide resource is 22,000 ounces of gold at surface and will be easier to mine adding to the cash generation possibly as early as the second half of 2026. This will provide additional cash to finance the development of Bilboes, which could cost around $600m. The share price continues its recovery and is up 4.01% at £19.45.

Forgent (LON: FORG) has increased its stake in the Peak Hill gold prospect to 99% and phase 2 drilling has started. The additional 48% stake cost £142,000 in cash and 7.44 million shares. A placing raised £800,000 at 0.009p/share. The share price fell 15.8% to 0.008p.

AI-driven research services provider GenIP (LON: GNIP) reported a decline in interim revenues from $125,000 to $54,000, although that was partly due to a one-off Brazilian contract in the previous period. The loss increased from $666,000 to $800,000. Cash was $410,000 at the end of June 2026. Management says that underlying commercial indicators are positive with a stronger potential pipeline. The share price slipped 16.2% to 2.85p.

Jarvis Securities (LON: JIM) says that no offers have been received for its operating subsidiary and it will be wound down. There is no value in the subsidiary, and the board is considering returning any remaining capital to shareholders. The share price slumped by one-eighth to 7p.

FIH (LON: FIH) says full year revenues from continuing activities rose 2% to £37.4m. This includes Momart, which is being sold. The remaining Falkland Islands business growth was offset by a reduction in Momart revenues. The underlying loss was £300,000. A final dividend of 5.5p/share will be paid. The Momart sale should be completed by the end of September. The share price dipped 6.85% to 170p.
