Orosur Mining Inc (LON: OMI) says partial results from the first hole at El Cedro show gold mineralisation from the surface and the target vein system was intersected at 100 metres. This is part of the Anza project in Colombia. The share price gained 24.3% to 16.1p.
Tertiary Minerals (LON: TYM) reports that the phase 4 drill programme at the Discovery Zone in Target A1, Mushima North Project in Zambia has intersected silver copper gold mineralisation in all 13 of the latest holes. It includes the best silver copper intersection so far. The share price increased 7.69% to 0.07p.
Haydale (LON: HAYD) says there are positive results form the testing of its Super-Efficient Thermal Transfer Fluid (SETTF) for data centre cooling applications. This has performed on a level with pure water. First installations could be within the next year. There are also uses in other sectors. The share price rose 7.09% to 0.34p.
Sylvania Platinum (LON: SLP) produced a record 95,900 ounces (4E) in 2025-26 and that generated revenues of $226m, more than double the previous year. Pre-tax profit jumped from $27.7m to $96.5m. The total dividend is 6p/share. Uncertain grades mean that 20262-27 production expectations have been lowered to 90,000 ounces. A new mine plan should be announced within weeks. Additional capital expenditure should help to boost longer term prospects, but cash should still increase. Chrome production is forecast to increase. Pre-tax profit could fall to $74.2m. The share price improved 4.69% to 89.5p.
FALLERS
Shares in GEO Exploration (LON: GEO) returned from suspension following completion of a retail offer that raised £123,000 at 0.06p/share. The total amount raised in the fundraising was £1.16m. The cash will fund drilling at Gorge gold project and exploration at other licence areas. The share price dived 39.5% to 0.0575p.
First Development Resources (LON: FDR) has announced assay results for the Lander West gold target at the Selta project. Gold anomalism was encountered in six of the eight holes. Multiple priority targets have been identified. The next phase of exploration should start in October. The share price slumped 25.5% to 1.75p.
Executive search firm Norman Broadbent (LON: NBB) generated net fee income of £5.3m in the first half, following a stronger second quarter. There was an interim loss because of hiring additional fee earners. A full year loss is expected and a return to profit forecast for 2027. The share price fell 8% to 207p.
Africa-focused oil and gas company Afentra (LON: AET) generated revenues of $91m in the first half, while operational cash flow was $33.2m, up from $3.2m in the same period last year. There could be first oil from Pacassa SW before the end of the year, despite operational delays. The share price is 3.54% lower at 79p, having recovered from below 75p.
