AIM movers: itim performance improves and Sunda Energy fundraising

Retail software itim Group (LON: ITIM) increased interim revenues by 7.5% to £8.6m and it returned to profit thanks to cost savings. The pre-tax profit was £200,000. Annualised recurring revenues are £13.6m. The company launched itimAIQ in the period. Zeus expects breakeven for the full year, and it could be better if additional contracts are won. The share price increased 34.2% to 27.5p.

Pulsar Group (LON: PULS) has reached a conclusion in its dispute with the HMRC and paid the money owed. The focus in the fourth quarter will be securing orders from the current pipeline and improving cash generation. The share price recovered 11.4% to 19.5p.

Mobile messaging platform provider Fonix (LON: FNX) increased full year revenues from £72.8m to £83.3m and pre-tax profit improved from £14.3m to £15.5m. Underlying net cash was £9.4m at the end of June 2026. The UK is trading strongly and international expansion continues. The share price rose 11.4% to 190.5p.

Eco (Atlantic) Oil & Gas (LON: ECO) has completed its farm down of a 37.5% working interest in Block 1 CBK offshore South Africa and transfer of operatorship to Navitas Petroleum. Eco retains a 37.5% working interest and this could be increased to 47.5% if an option is exercised. The share price improved 7.06% to 44.75p.

FALLERS

Trading in Sunda Energy (LON: SNDA) shares returned from suspension after it finalised a fundraising. A placing and subscription raised £5.25m at 1.5p/share and a retail offer could raise up to £525,000. This will help to pay for the acquisition of Matahio Energy NZ and provide funding for interests in Timor-Leste and the Philippines. The share price slumped 43.6% to 1.55p.

Mongolia focused oil and gas producer Petro Matad (LON: MATD) still cannot begin to export and invoice PetroChina because of a failure to agree the 2026 oil sales agreement. Production has been stopped due to a lack of storage. There are discussions with alternative purchasers. The share price declined 27.4% to 0.875p.

SkinBioTherapeutics (LON: SBTX) expects 2025-26 revenues to be one-fifth higher at £4.7m. Rachel Parsonage has been appointed permanent chief executive. There was 31.5m in the bank at the end of 2025. Trading is ahead of internal expectations, but more cash is likely to be required. The share price fell 16.7% to 6.25p.

Marketing and advertising services provider M&C Saatchi (LON: SAA) returned to like-for-like growth in the second quarter, although there was a 1.4% decline in the six month period. Pre-tax profit fell from £6.1m to £4.8m. Panmure Liberum has downgraded the full year pre-tax profit estimate from £25m to £22m, which is still a rise from £18m last year. The share price dipped 5.95% to 138.25p.
