Hercules has won around £5m of new contracts for civil engineering work in the UK water sector.
The power and infrastructure services group said its construction division had secured the work in the final quarter of its financial year, mostly in the Thames Water region, with the projects due to be completed over the next six months.
The contracts support the water industry’s AMP8 investment programme, under which the regulator Ofwat has committed more than £104bn of spending by water companies between 2025 and 2030.
Brusk Korkmaz, CEO of Hercules, said: “We are pleased to have secured a further c. £5 million of contracts within the Thames Water region during the final quarter of FY2026. These awards build on the strong progress made by our Civil Projects business during the year and demonstrate the continued demand for our civil engineering and infrastructure capabilities.”
Hercules revenue rose to a record £59.2m in the first half of 2026, so while today’s contract will be welcome, it’s not game-changing.
