Fabless chip maker EnSilica (LON: ENSI) increased revenues by 53% to £27.8m and made an underlying pre-tax profit of £2.36m, having made a loss in the previous year. There was a larger than expected R&D tax credit. Supply revenues were lower than expected but design revenues offset that and they should turn into additional supply contracts in the future. Net cash was £3.1m at the end of May 2026 and there was a subsequent fundraising of £14.9m at 91p/share. An office has been opened in Milan and further investments are being made. The share price gained 13.5% to 84p.
Hercules (LON: HERC) has been awarded £5m of new contracts in the water sector. Most of these contracts are in the Thames Water region and should be completed in the next six months. The share price increased 8.7% to 37.5p.
Dowgate no longer has a notifiable stake in Transense Technologies (LON: TRT). It previously owned 4.5%. The share price improved 6.17% to 43p.
Tower Resources (LON: TRP) has received formal documentation for the extension to the initial exploration period for the 100% owned Thali licence. This is important in the farmout of a 42.5% stake to Prime Global Energies and the drilling of well NJOM-3 on the Njonji structure, which could happen in the second quarter of next year. This should confirm that the oil discovery is commercial. No further fundraising is required this year. The share price rose 5.56% to 0.019p.
FALLERS
Shares in ATOME (LON: ATOM) returned from suspension after the publication of the 2025 accounts and the latest interims. In the first half of 2026, the loss was $12.2m. Net cash was $4.3m at the end of June 2026. Chairman Peter Levine is providing a new facility of up to £2.5m. There is uncertainty over the Villeta that has built up over the suspension period. The share price halved to 14.5p.
Orcadian Energy (LON: ORCA) has agreed to terminate the joint development agreement with a US developer of offshore data centre infrastructure. The scope and timeline for the Earlham development did not align with the potential partner’s priorities. Orcadian Energy is talking with other partners. The share price dives 21.7% to 13.5p.
Premier African Minerals (LON: PREM) has raised £1.2m at 0.00436p/share. This will be invested in the Zulu lithium and tantalum project. The share price declined 18.4% to 0.00445p.
Rockhopper Exploration (LON: RKH) shares have fallen 14.7% to 51.8p because of fears about sanctions being placed on those involved in the Sea Lion project and other Falkland Islands activities. Two contractors are being replaced, but Navitas, the operator of the oil project, says that this should not have a material adverse effect on the project.
