AIM movers: Caledonia Mining delays and Mincon upgrade

Fox Xplore (LON: FOX) has completed the acquisition of a portfolio of five gold exploration properties in Canada for £296,000. Further payments will be due based on three milestones. Nereus Gold and Jubilee Alpha each has a 4.21% stake. The share price jumped 57.9% to 0.03p.

Mining and construction equipment supplier Mincon (LON: MCON) had a strong third quarter and nine month revenues are 28% ahead. Construction remains a strong market and market share is being gained. Two contracts in Sweden will be delivered in the next six months. Mining performance is improving. Shore has upgraded its 2026 pre-tax profit forecast from £11.2m to £14.5m. The share price rose 7.64% to 84.5p.

IG Design Group (LON: IGR) director Ari Bensoussan bought an initial 465,799 shares at 91.61p each. The share price improved 7.07% to 98.5p.

Steppe Cement (LON: STCM) has confirmed its 2p/share interim dividend will be 2p/share, and the shares go ex-dividend on 15 October. It will paid on 30 October. The share price increased 6.85% to 39p.

FALLERS

Arkadian Strategic Metals (LON: AKN) is asking for shareholder permission to consolidate 1,500 existing shares into one new share. This could happen on 27 October. The company has applied to be traded on the US OTCQB Venture Market. It hopes this will improve the liquidity of the shares. The share price slumped 15% to 0.0085p.

Oxford Metrics Group (LON: OMG) has reduced guidance for this financial year. Vicon’s entertainment market is weak, while IVMS has been hit by delays to a contact lens inspection contract. IVMS is also selling less third party software. Cost savings are ahead of plan. Even so, a loss is expected for the 15 month period to December 2026. Oxford Metrics has bought Move AI, a motion capture technology company that fits with Vicon, for £525,000. Cash is expected to be at least £27m at the end of 2026. Even though next year’s revenues have been reduced the pre-tax profit forecast has been held at £4.1m. The share price fell 7.59% to 32.25p – a market capitalisation of £39m.

Production at Caledonia Mining Corporation (LON: CMCL) was delayed because of the late delivery of air compressors and problems with commissioning of new equipment. That meant that third quarter production dipped to 17,000 ounces of gold, but it should rise to at least 19,400 ounces in the fourth quarter. Full year guidance is 69,000 – 72,5000 ounces and operating costs have been revised upwards. Full year pre-tax profit of $126m is forecast. The share price declined 5.56% to £17.

Nativo Resources (LON: NTVO) has issued 142.9 million A subscription shares to Chancery Royalty and related investors, which raised £300,000, Warrants are also being issued. The share price slipped 5.56% to 0.34p.
