Volex reported record first-half revenue, with growth across all markets, and said full-year profit should land toward the upper end of expectations.
The maker of power and data transmission products said group revenue reached at least $710m in the six months to 30 September, up at least 21% on an organic basis.
Volex outlined a broad-based growth story, led by strong demand in aerospace and defence, electric vehicles and data centres, with its consumer, off-highway and medical businesses also growing.
Its recent acquisition of Kepler SignalTek contributed about $11m.
The company said its operating margin was progressing towards its medium-term target of 12%, helped by an improving product mix and efficiencies. Its data centre business, which had surged last year as it supplied customers when rivals were constrained, remained well ahead of a year earlier as supply conditions normalised, and it pointed to a new generation of higher-speed products expected to drive growth from 2028.
Volex said its balance sheet remained strong, with a £20m share buyback nearly complete, and that it expected full-year underlying operating profit towards the upper end of market forecasts.
Volex shares were relatively subdued in early trade on Monday.
