Shearwater Group has won a £9.2m contract expansion with a major UK telecoms provider, through its Brookcourt Solutions business.
The cybersecurity group said the three-year deal extended and expanded its existing relationship with the customer, adding a new cloud security requirement after it displaced a rival provider.
About £3.0m of the contract’s value is expected to be recognised in the current financial year, supporting its expectations, with the rest providing revenue visibility through to 2029.
Shearwater recently announced revenues of £42.3m for the year to 30 June 2026, producing adjusted profit before tax of £1.4m.
Phil Higgins, Chief Executive Officer of Shearwater Group plc, said: “This is a strategically important award for Brookcourt and an excellent example of the model we are building across the Group. Our strategy is not simply to win individual technology contracts, but to establish trusted positions within major organisations and then expand those relationships by addressing a broader range of their cybersecurity requirements.”
“Importantly, it also strengthens our long-term revenue visibility and further embeds Brookcourt within one of the UK’smajor telecommunications providers. We believe there remains significant opportunity to replicate this approach across our wider customer base, particularly within telecommunications, financial services, government and other large enterprises where cybersecurity requirements continue to grow in scale and complexity.”
