Fertiliser producer Harvest Minerals (LON: HMI) is acquiring a portfolio of eight rare earth projects in Brazil for A$200,000 and 40 million shares, plus a further A$300,000 on achievement of milestones. Harvest Minerals also takes on A$1.5m of previously agreed deferred payments and a 1.5% royalty obligation. Two projects are highly prospective for ionic clay-hosted rare earths mineralisation. The company already has a rare earths prospect at its Arapua project. The share price jumped 77.8% to 0.4p.
Semiconductor wafers manufacturer IQE (LON: IQE) says first half trading beat expectations and interim revenues were at least £64m. Cash was £41.6m at the end of June 2026. Demand for Indium Phosphide (InP) product demand is accelerating with additional growth in aerospace, defence, wireless and 3D sensing. Full year revenues are expected to grow b30% and EBITDA should be in the low teens. The share price rebounded 21.3% to 43.8p.
Gateley (LON: GTLY) chief executive Rod Waddle is stepping down due to health reasons and non-exec Martin Pike will take over on an interim basis. The legal services provider increased full year revenues by 8% to £194.3m. Underlying pre-tax profit dipped from £23.3m to £21.6m due to higher employment costs. Net debt rose to £25.3m. The final dividend has been cut from 6.2p/share to 2p/share. The plan is to distribute 45% of adjusted profit. Trading is in line with expectations and investment in software will help to price and monitor business. Redundancies have been announced. The share price increased 15.75 to 62.5p.
Audio visual products distributor Midwich Group (LON: MIDW) says interim revenues will be around £640m and underlying pre-tax profit was 10% higher at £10.6m. Profit would have been higher without a poor performance in the Middle East due to the conflict with Iran. This will continue to hamper the second half. Net debt was £138m at the end of June 2026. Interim figures will be published on 22 September. The share price is 6.77% higher at 137.3p.
Three directors of Guardian Metal Resources (LON: GMET) have been buying shares and ADSs. The share price improved 7.81% to 172.5p.
Quantum Helium (LON: QHE) plans to seek a quotation on OTC Markets in the US. The Sagebrush-1 well is producing helium, oil and water and production is still being optimised. The first sale of oil is expected this month. Drilling is planned on acreage in Colorado. The share price rose 5.45% to 2.9p.

Revolution Beauty (LON: REVB) revenues fell 28% to £102.1m. The loss increased from £16.8m to £30.9m. Net debt was £247m at the end of February 2026. Current trading is ahead of expectations with direct to consumer sales 28% ahead. The share price declined 5.25% to 5.78p.
Sintana Energy Inc (LON: SEI) says the Uruguay authorities have agreed to the suspension of the initial exploration subperiod of the AREA OFF-1 block, offshore Uruguay, for one year. This is because of delays to environmental authorisation for 3D seismic. An application will be made for an offshore block in Argentina. The share price fell 2.67% to 18.25p.
