Managed IT services provider SysGroup (LON: SYS) has secured its first UK public sector contract following becoming an approved supplier on the UK Government’s G-Cloud 15 framework. Trading is in line with expectations. Pre-tax profit is expected to jump from £400,000 to £1.5m. The share price gained 14% to 28.5p.
Revolution Beauty (LON: REVB) says EBIDA should reach £1m in the first half, compared with a loss of £12.5m in the corresponding period even though revenues were flat. Gross margin is higher because the comparative included clearance sales. Online sales were 22% higher in the first half. Cavendish is waiting for the interim figures to reassess its full year pre-tax loss forecast of £1.6m. The share price increased 11.8% to 4.75p.
Tertiary Minerals (LON: TYM) says it has achieved the highest-grade silver copper intersection in phase 4 drilling at the Discovery Zone in Target A1, Mushima North project in Zambia. The depth of mineralisation has also increased. The share price rose 10.7% to 0.0775p.
Steel structures supplier Billington (LON: BILN) has gained two data centre contracts worth £42m. One of these is the first phase of a larger development. The interims are set to be published on 29 September. The share price is 7.41% to 435p.
Diagnostics company EDX Medical (LON: EDX) has signed a three-year agreement car dealer Arnold Clark to provide health and wellbeing screening programme to its 11,600 employees. This could generate annual revenues of at least £1.4m. The share price improved 5.88% to 9p.
FALLERS
Sunrise Resources (LON: SRES) shares have returned from suspension down 17.5% to 0.0165p. There was £320,000 raised at 0.015p/share.
Serval Resources (LON: SRVL) has completed the geophysics surveys at the Somelo prospect and is near to completing it on the Sweet Thorn Pan prospect. This will be used to help locate collars for future drilling. Processing of data should be finished in October. The share price declined 14.3% to 30p.
Microbiome-based products developer OptiBiotix Health (LON: OPTI) grew interim revenues by 22% to £679,000 and costs were reduced. However, there was a loss on disposal of investments of £554,000 and a fair value downgrade of £320,000, compared with a gain on investments in the previous period. This meant that the overall loss increased from £1.18m to £1.6m. The operating loss almost halved. Sales and marketing has been focused on product and countries where the returns are better. Sweetener SweetBiotix is being sampled by confectionery and drinks companies. The share price dipped 9.85% to 5.95p.
