Alexa Terms and Conditions of Use
In these terms and conditions “the skill” means the UK Investor Magazine Skill that UK Investor Magazine has produced for the general public on the Amazon Alexa skill store. In these terms ‘UK Investor Magazine’ refers to the UK Investor Magazine publication which is owned and operated by INVT. Superstore LTD. Reference to “Alexa” means the Amazon Voice Service that enables users to interact through an Amazon voice device. “Device” constitutes Alexa compatible device upon which the Customer can download the Skill.”Amazon” means Amazon.com Inc. the Company who owns Alexa, and the company a user must have set up in order to download the Skills and consume the UK Investor Magazine skill.

1. Accuracy:
UK Investor Magazine had no part in the design or manufacture Alexa, your Echo, Dot or similar device or any other software involved with Alexa or your device. UK Investor Magazine can therefore provide no guarantee of its ongoing viability and will not accept any liability for inaccuracies of devices.
UK Investor Magazine skills provide financial information, we hold no responsibility for any inaccuracies in any financial data broadcast through the UK Investor Magazine skill. It is likely is that any prices are historical and are not the current price and at the time you listen to any skill the price contained within the skill are likely to have changed.
2. Ownership:
UK Investor Magazine owns all intellectual property (IP) in the content of the skill and the skill’s content should not be copied and transferred without express prior consent by UK Investor Magazine. UK Investor Magazine owns all source code related to this skill and any use is prohibited.
3. Security Settings & Disablement
Upon engaging your device with the UK Investor Magazine skill, you are giving permission to UK Investor Magazine to provide information to the device which you will receive based on the device’s security settings. This means that you are responsible for how the skill is used on your device, including any communication to or from UK Investor Magazine on your device. If you wish stop using the UK Investor Magazine skill, please disable the skill within the Amazon app.

You assume all risk for your use of the UK Investor Magazine Skill that it is provided “as is”. UK Investor Magazine expressly disclaims all conditions, warranties and other terms, either express or implied, including without limitation the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and no advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from UK Investor Magazine, or through or from the Skill, will create any warranty of any kind. Any claims that you may have with respect to the skill, and your usage of the skill, must be brought against Amazon and/or Alexa and not against UK Investor Magazine or affiliated companies.

We hereby exclude any liability for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss or damage that you may incur in connection with your use, consumption, interaction or inability to use the skill, Alexa or the UK Investor Magazine in general, including, without limitation any damage to electronic devices, any liability for loss of income or revenue, loss of business, loss of profits or contracts, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data, loss of goodwill and any other loss or damage of any kind, however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, whether foreseeable or not. If you do not comply with these Terms, and we incur any costs, loss, expenses, claims, and other liabilities which result from your non-compliance, including a resultant breach by us of our obligations to Amazon and/or Alexa, you agree to reimburse and make good UK Investor Magazine for any such costs, loss, claims, expenses and other liabilities, including any legal costs involved with the defence of any claim brought against us due to your non-compliance with these Terms. This is in addition to any other specific remedies that we have in these Terms or under the law generally.
5. Skill, Alexa & Technology Support
UK Investor Magazine will not provide technical or any other support for the Skill. In exceptional circumstances we may provide limited guidance. Please refer to Amazon’s Help Pages and Documentation.
6. Termination:
Your rights under these Terms will automatically terminate without notice if fail to adhere or fail to comply with these terms of with the privacy policy. It may be terminated at any time. Should these terms be terminated you shall not use the UK Investor Magazine Alexa skill through your Amazon device. If we chose to discontinue the skills for any reason we shall not be held responsibility for any liability incurred in line with the disclaimer.
7. Data Protection
By using the UK Investor Magazine you confirm that you will at all times during the course of these Terms comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679) (“GDPR”) and ensure that any and all use of the Skill complies with GDPR.
