Avon Technologies has secured a roughly $12m order for chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) respiratory protection equipment from an existing European customer.
Avon has won a string of similar orders in recent months as the group builds momentum in the area.
This order, won by its Avon Protection business, covers a system built around the company’s FM53 full-face air-purifying respirator, its combination powered air-purifying respirator (CS-PAPR) and its ST53 self-contained breathing apparatus.
Together, the equipment is designed to let operators switch quickly between protection modes in the field and maintain continuous respiratory protection during longer or more demanding operations.
Jos Sclater, Chief Executive Officer, said: “This order highlights the significant enhanced respiratory protection upgrade opportunity as customers transition from legacy respirators to our next-generation platforms, delivering lower burden, improved combat effectiveness and enhanced integration across CBRN systems.”

Avon said the order further underpins its expectations for the 2027 financial year.
