Invinity Energy Systems has secured its largest sale to date, agreeing to supply 43 MWh of vanadium flow batteries to Dairyland Power Cooperative for deployment across long duration energy storage projects in the US Midwest.
The AIM-quoted battery maker will see its systems installed at multiple sites across Dairyland’s service territory, which spans rural communities in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois.
Delivery is expected to begin in late 2027.
Invinity has been on a roll recently with a series of new deal boost their visibility of revenues going forward.

The order forms part of the REVIVE programme, a multi-site long duration storage initiative backed by US Department of Energy funding and led by Dairyland, first announced by Invinity in September 2023.
The Wisconsin-headquartered cooperative supplies wholesale electricity to member-owned utilities and will use the batteries to support grid resilience and reliability as demand and supply fluctuate.
Invinity said its Endurium technology was selected for its ability to perform long duration charge and discharge cycles, with the company’s US delivery track record and the field performance of existing installations also weighing in its favour.
The deal caps a run of commercial momentum for Invinity in the American market, following a 32 MWh sale to Pacific Steel Group in California and a 2 MWh order from a commercial and industrial site in Wisconsin.
