Made Tech wins largest-ever contract and raises guidance again

Made Tech has won its largest contract in history and raised its guidance for the second time this year, as the public-sector technology firm’s order book continues to swell.

The company said it had been appointed, as part of a consortium, to a four-year contract with a UK government department, with the work attributable to Made Tech worth around £40m over its life.

Revenue will be recognised in the 2027 financial year and ramp up through FY28.

On the back of the award, the board now expects FY27 revenue of £63m to £66m and adjusted EBITDA of £6.3m to £6.6m, both ahead of current market expectations.

It’s the second upgrade to guidance in 2026. Made Tech’s contracted backlog is now about £115m, giving it greater revenue visibility into FY27 and beyond. The company will report full-year results for FY26 in September.

Rory MacDonald, CEO of Made Tech, said: “This is the largest contract award in our history and marks an important milestone in our growth. The award also endorses our position at the centre of a number of critical programmes across government.”

“Importantly, it also provides greater visibility over future revenues and underpins the Board’s confidence in upgrading its expectations for FY27 while reinforcing our confidence in the Group’s medium-term growth trajectory. We look forward to working alongside our consortium partners over the coming years.”
