Oxford BioDynamics takes prostate cancer test to UAE via Dubai partnership

Oxford BioDynamics has signed a partnership to offer its EpiSwitch PSE prostate cancer test across the United Arab Emirates, its first commercial deal for the test in the Gulf.

The biotech said the agreement with The Dubai London Clinics & Hospitals Group will make the blood test available across the provider’s network of five UAE facilities.

Samples will be collected in Dubai and processed at OBD’s laboratory in the UK, with the end-to-end clinical workflow already validated between the two organisations.

The companies said they would work together to drive adoption among DLCH’s clinicians and engage regional payers, with test volumes expected to build over time.

Richard Compton, Chief Executive Officer at Oxford Biodynamics, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with DLCH to make EpiSwitch PSE available across its facilities in the UAE. This is our first commercial partnership for the test in the Gulf region and an important milestone as we continue to expand internationally.”

“We’ve already successfully validated the workflow between DLCH and our UK laboratory and look forward to working closely with the team to support adoption among clinicians and build awareness of the benefits our test can provide.”
