Robinson said its profit for this year remained on track, but flagged the loss of a major customer contract that ends in December.
The Chesterfield-based packaging manufacturer said the contract, which generated about £3.3m of annual revenue and £1.0m of gross profit, would not be renewed, though it would continue to supply the customer with other products across its factory network.
Losing the contract would, on its own, reduce next year’s revenue and operating profit by those amounts.
However, Robinson said it was pursuing operational initiatives and new business to offset the impact, and that it expected its 2027 profitability to be broadly in line with this year.
It confirmed that underlying operating profit for 2026 remained in line with market expectations.
