Tekcapital’s Innovative Eyewear posts record quarterly sales

Tekcapital said its portfolio company, Innovative Eyewear, reported record quarterly sales as the smart-glasses maker’s wholesale push gathered pace.

The Nasdaq-listed company, which makes smart eyewear under brands including Lucyd and Reebok, said preliminary net sales for the third quarter rose about 55% to around $1.04m, its highest ever and a thirteenth consecutive quarter of year-on-year growth. Sales for the first nine months reached about $2.8m, already exceeding its total for the whole of 2025.

“Our preliminary third quarter results reflect continued progress in executing our growth strategy,” said Harrison Gross, CEO of Innovative Eyewear.

“We delivered the highest quarterly net sales in our history while intentionally running promotional pricing on older models and conserving advertising and marketing spend. That approach clears the way for the planned fourth quarter launch of Lucyd Aero™, our lightest and most advanced smartglasses to date, as we head into what has historically been our strongest quarter of the year.”

The growth came from online sales and the first shipments under new wholesale deals, which the company expects to contribute more significantly from the fourth quarter.

These include a rollout with a major US big-box retailer across more than 150 stores, a launch with an optical chain in Canada, and initial orders from its distributor in Australia and New Zealand. Innovative Eyewear also plans to launch its most advanced smart glasses yet, Lucyd Aero, in the fourth quarter.

So the group could have more top-line growth to come. It is valued at $7.6m on the NASDAQ.
