Election campaigns: the final countdown

Just one day of campaigning remains for parties ahead of tomorrow’s general election.

In fact, by the end of the week, the nation’s political outlook just might be a little bit clearer.

Parties have taken to social media to campaign ahead of the voting date, to desperately win votes.

With just one day to go, let’s take a look at the last minute attempts made by Labour and the Conservatives to win over voters.

Labour

Jeremy Corbyn has an active Twitter feed this morning, taking to the social media platform to share his policies:

The Labour Party‏’s Twitter account has also been active this morning:

A clever move from Corbyn, the leader of the Labour Party has adopted a classic online “meme” format for his campaigning, targeting younger voters and providing a comedic element:

Conservatives

It is no surprise that Boris Johnson‏’s Twitter account has also been active this morning with just one more day until the general election. Much like Corbyn, the leader of the Conservative Party has also used comedy in his campaign, using a play on words in the following Tweet:

The current Prime Minister went back to emphasising his main tag line in the next Tweet:

The Conservative Party’s Twitter account is also sharing the party’s number one priority this election:

With just a day to go until the nation casts their votes, the question remains; will this general election provide some form of political clarity for the first time in three years?
